MICROBLADING F.A.Q.

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Eyebrow Microblading fills in sparse areas of your natural brow line; allowing small hair strokes that look natural and filled with colored pigment. We use 100% natural colored pigments made from vegetables; that aren't harmful to your skin and do not create any allergic reactions from the treatment.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE TATTOOED BROWS?

No problem. In most cases the tattoo can be lightened and then microbladed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The eyebrow application will take between two and three hours, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Our eyebrow artist manually applies a natural eyebrow tattoo of individual hair strokes to your skin in order to create attractive, realistic brows.

DOES IT HURT?

TT Lashes' uses only the most effective anesthetic creams before and during your appointment (keeps you numb). An after care touch-up session is included, ensuring that your eyebrows continue to look perfect.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THEM?

Thankfully, we haven't had this issue. The shape and color is to your discretion and before we start the process you approve the color and shape. However, if you're unsatisifed the colored pigmetn can be wiped out within the firsdt 6 hours from the initial process. The correction must be done before the color sets and the skin heals around it.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microblading typically last for a year or longer. The discoloration/dullness depends on the skin type, following post instructions and the environment.  However, due keep in mind microblading is not permanent tattooing it is just temporary. Usually, clients touch up at the 6 month mark or at their year mark.

WHAT ABOUT THE PIGMENTED COLOR USED?

We offer a selection of organic certified colors also know as lakes for you to choose from.  Clients with oily skin are offered a more invasive colored pigments that contain iron oxide.

CAN I GET MICROBLADING WITH OILY SKIN?

Yes, of course it's just a matter of understanding pigment options and being aware that oily skin may require more touch ups; because the colored pigment is embedded into the skin during the micro-blading process all skin types heal differently. The more oily the skin the harder it is for standard pigment to set in while healing.

DO YOU RECOMMEND ANYTHING PRIOR TO MY VISIT?

Take aspirin 24 hrs prior to your session

NO Chemical peels within 60 days of your session

Do not work out the day of your session

No waxing within 3 days of your session; however we recommed not waxing for at least a week.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER MY VISIT?

The color will appear darker then it will eventually be. This is because the pigment takes around 7 days to set into the layers of your skin. After 7-10 days, exfoliation takes place. The top layer of the skin peels off, leaving a softer, lighter color below. The result is a natural looking enhancement. As the treated area is setting in, itching may occur. Which is a good sign because it means the skin is healing. Please note that your eyebrows will will appear darker and/or bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days.
